Emily is a European and American interdisciplinary artist from Southern California currently in her third and final year at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she studies Art and Film. Her work explores themes of home, time, and memory in order to reconnect with a sense of childlike wonder. Through mixed media and experimentation, Emily allows curiosity of the physical process and material engagement to drive her practice. She follows observations to investigate questions of identity and uncertainty of place, with a desire to create work that is innately human.

Emily is a member of the NCAA Tennis Team at UCSC where the discipline of repetition and intuition continue to inform her creative practice.
