Scents of Home - Independent Thesis Concentration
Vignettes serving as a reminder that connection and how we share stories continue to matter in such a constructed world.
Installation and spotlights of cultural showcase (recipes, meaningful objects, places, etc.) created within the Integrated Critical Practice concentration at UCSC (only 2 students in 2026) under faculty advisement of Professor Alonso. Short Documentary Thesis Film in alignment with my concentration.
While Scents of Home began as a way to explore my own initial questions of place in relation to home through my European and American culture, it has expanded to explore a variety of cultures and perspectives. I hope to continue building this project through real stories :).
